What are your contributions to the team?

  • You will be responsible for planning, organizing, motivating and supervising the activities of a 15 to 25 union employees.
  • You will assume all the human resources management responsibilities.
  • You will have to coordinate quality support to the production teams.
  • You will have to identify, do the documentation and standardize the key process to achieve the objectives and share the good practice of the organization.
  • Plan the daily operations of your sector and follow up on them.
  • Report and analyze various indicators related to productivity, quality, health and safety, absenteeism, etc.
  • Resolve problems in an efficient and timely manner.
  • Maintain communication with other departments for any issues related to your sector.
  • Ensure continuous improvement using operational excellence concepts and the problem-solving process.
  • Ensure the training of your employees, evaluate their performance and their progress.
  • Promote a work environment based on teamwork and open communication.
  • Exercise your leadership while respecting the vision and values of Bombardier.
  • Coach your team to develop their talent in the organization.

How to thrive in this role?

•    You have a bachelor's degree in engineering or industrial engineering, or a college degree combined with several years of experience in the methods and/or quality team, most importantly in quality assurance, project management, problem solving and/or continuous improvement
•    You have excellent management skills. 
•    You have the ability to show good judgment, flexibility, results-oriented, able to work with minimal supervision and comfortable with tight delivery times. 
•    You have a great sense of initiative and are ready to work with a winning team. 
•    You have good organizational skills and excellent technical knowledge.
•    You have a definite talent for communication and leadership. 
•    You have the ability to work under pressure and with minimal supervision. 
•    You have good communication skills in both English and French (bilingualism is an asset)
