In your role, you will
- Manage a team of industrialization project portfolio and inventory managers for the Industrialization & Planning team across all Bombardier manufacturing sites;
- Be responsible for the performance and development of the professionals reporting to you;
- Plan activities, implement the required governances, and provide the necessary leadership to ensure key objectives related to inventory and project management are met;
- Be accountable for the Executive Project Portfolio governance & Inventory Steerco;
- Develop and improve the department's tools & processes;
- Develop trusted relationships with partners (Finance, Planning, Operations and Engineering) to help develop strategies and action plans that enable business success;
- Lead and influence cross-functional teams to ensure the project execution meets the established schedule and budget.
As our ideal candidate
- You have a university degree in Engineering or Business Administration or the equivalent and at least twelve (12) years of relevant experience in the aerospace industry;
- You have a solid background as a project manager, with a proven track record in managing complex projects (a PMP certification would be an asset);
- You demonstrate leadership skills and have an interest in developing others;
- You have a strong business acumen, a good understanding of financial statements and can proactively identify and validate consistencies and accuracy of financial information;
- You have good flexibility and adaptability in a constantly changing environment;
- You have the ability to manage a portfolio of projects of varying complexity and you have a good sense of prioritization to allocate tasks and resources adequately;
- You have a demonstrated desire for continuous improvement for yourself, as well as for your organization;
- You have a spirit of synthesis and have the ability to prepare presentations and present to executive levels;
- You have a great sense of autonomy, have a customer-oriented approach and you demonstrate rigor and discipline;
- You are structured and have a strategic mindset;
- You have strong oral and written communication skills in both English and French.
