In your role, you will
• Manage the team responsible for suppliers conformity to manufacturing processes (special processes) and to quality system requirements
• Ensure team performance to accomplish all required tasks and mandates
• Review and approve travel plan for all supplier audits
• Ensure team development
• Approve the annual plan for supplier evaluation activities
• Assign tasks to team members and manage team workload
• Develop the annual master plan of projects to improve our internal business processes
• Define annual budget for the team
• Occasional travel to suppliers
As our ideal candidate
• You hold a bachelor degree
• You have experience related to the special processes for the manufacturing of aerospace metallic parts (heat treat, welding, shot peen, machining, assembly, chemical processing, corrosion protection)
• You have strong leadership, teamwork, problem solving, flexibility and project management skills
• You have a minimum of ten (10) years of relevant experience in aerospace industry
• You are able to manage multiple tasks
• You have excellent communication skills (written and spoken) both in French and English
• You have experience with suppliers interactions
• You have some knowledge of Nadcap, AS9100 and ISO 9001 quality standards
