What are your contributions to the team?
- Propose and scope strategic, sustainable Engineering talent management initiatives aligned with the organization’s 5-year vision, including budgets, and resource requirements.
- Deploy and Lead change management including communication efforts to successfully drive adoption of key initiatives
- Oversee the plan and implementation of onboarding programs, including the engineering technical curriculum.
- Advance and continuously refine strategies, including the use of new technologies, to ensure effective knowledge transfer across the Engineering organization.
- Support career growth initiatives
- Understand the organization and support and influence strategies to attract, recruit, and retain top engineering talent.
- Develop and empower team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, engagement, and trust.
How to thrive in this role?
• You hold a bachelor’s degree in engineering, or relevant diploma with equivalent working experience,
• You have a minimum of 10 years of experience with minimum of 3 years in supervisory role
• You possess creative, innovative capabilities and an ability to think strategically.
• You are a self-starter/self-motivated with strong organizational & time management skills to support multiple tasks with little direct oversight
• You have knowledge of Bombardier Engineering organizations and environment is an asset
• You foster teamwork by networking, discovering synergies and leveraging resources.
• You are comfortable interacting/presenting to all levels of management, including senior leadership
• You have experience in knowledge management or coaching certification (are asset)
• You have intermediate level with Microsoft Office applications (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Project)
