Job Description
Reporting to Operations and the Methods Department, you will act as a coordinator for innovation projects, process improvements, and solution development initiatives aimed at optimizing performance, quality, and operational efficiency.
What are your contributions to the team?
- Lead continuous improvement, innovation, and product development projects.
- Act as a change agent in the implementation of new solutions.
- Coordinate strategic and development projects and ensure follow-up on action plans.
- Work closely with Engineering, Project Management, Program Management, Material Logistics, Quality, and Production teams.
- Plan governance meetings with various stakeholders.
- Manage projects from initiation through completion.
- Prepare the necessary documentation to provide visibility into project health and progress.
- Apply and promote structured problem-solving methodologies.
Specific Duties
- Define project requirements and establish the technical parameters to be achieved.
- Analyze proposals received from suppliers and partners.
- Develop detailed action plans.
- Create project schedules and ensure milestones and deadlines are met.
- Coordinate required tooling and facility layout changes.
- Participate in the development and implementation of new products and methods.
- Revise plans as needed to accommodate schedule changes or other shifts in priorities and direction.
How to thrive in this role?
- You have a DEC in Aeronautical Technology, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
- You have excellent organizational, analytical, and time management skills.
- You are proficient in CATIA V5, SAP, and Microsoft Office.
- You have a strong team spirit and demonstrate autonomy, sound judgment, and perseverance.
- You have strong verbal and written communication skills in French; English is considered an asset.
