What are your contributions to the team?
• Validate and revise assembly instruction guides or manufacturing instruction guides for the manufacturing or assembly of aircraft components;
• Interpret, drawings and other engineering documents;
• Develop assembly and manufacturing strategies for aircraft components;
• Develop necessary tools to manufacture or assemble aircraft components by taking into account established geometric tolerancing;
• Harmonize the implementation of engineering changes or assembly strategies by working in close collaboration with Engineering, Parts Logistics, Quality and Production;
• Participate actively in production support by coordinating problem solving with other support departments;
• Keep abreast of best ways to enhance assembly and manufacturing strategies and participate in research and development projects.
How to thrive in this role? Skills, knowledge & experience :
• You have a college or university diploma in mechanical, avionics, electrical, industrial, or electromechanical engineering, aeronautical manufacturing or a minimum of 1-3 years in a related discipline;
• You are comfortable reading technical drawings, have good 3D visualization, good analytical skills and an ability to search for information quickly
• You have a general knowledge of the mechanical and avionics systems of a Green aircraft
• You have a general knowledge of the basic principles of manufacturing and installing an aircraft interior
• You have knowledge of the aircraft certification process (Manuf vs AMO) and are able to understand the related documentation
• You are familiar with computer-aided drafting software such as Catia, AutoCad, Enovia, etc.;
• You are familiar with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software such as BAAN, SAP, etc.;
• You are an excellent team player and are known for your perseverance and judgment;
• You are able to work independently and prioritize your files effectively
• You are comfortable managing several simultaneous files and finding relevant technical solutions quickly
• You are proficient in the French language, both oral and written, and you have a good knowledge of the English language
