What are your contributions to the team?

  • Develop, influence, and define manufacturing guidelines within the team.
  • Act as a technical authority in a strategic domain for the company (S4/Hana, NX / Teamcenter, BPM, BM, Engineering Management Changes, etc.).
  • Collaborate with other functions to ensure adherence to guidelines (Quality Core, Engineering Core, all site Methods SMEs, S4/Hana & NX/Teamcenter).
  • Work under general guidance, plan reviews/governance, and communicate the status of complex projects.
  • Coordinate projects related to the business plan.
  • Demonstrate leadership through innovation and openness.
  • Team leader of Methods Core experts: guides and mobilizes team members to achieve strategic and operational objectives.
  • Ensure the effectiveness of Core Methods experts: helps establish performance indicators, monitors results, and adjusts priorities based on program needs.
  • Optimize team productivity: identifies performance barriers, proposes innovative solutions, and ensures implementation of best practices.
  • Coordinate cross-functional activities: facilitates collaboration between Core Methods experts and other functions (engineering, quality, etc.).
  • Actively participates in talent selection and development: contributes to recruitment, training, and professional growth of team members.
  • Lead continuous improvement: promotes innovation, standardization, and documentation of methods to strengthen process robustness.
  • Represent the Core Methods team in strategic forums: advocates for the team’s interests and ensures alignment with corporate objectives.
  • Participate in PGP and employee development.

How to thrive in this role?

  • •    You hold a university degree in Manufacturing / Aeronautical Engineering or equivalent College degree in Aircraft Manufacturing.
    •    You have 11+ years of experience in aerospace manufacturing; plus knowledge in varied aircraft manufacturing disciplines and integration.
    •    New product development experience is an asset.
    •    You are a technical individual who can effectively collaborate with other functions to achieve the project’s desired results.
    •    You have an innovative midset with a technical apititude to address complex problems.
    •    You have knowledge in the engineering and manufacturing processes of the aerospace industry.
    •    You are result-driven, and enthusiastic with strong work ethic. 
    •    You have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. 
    •    You have strong communication skills and can easily tailor your communication to suit the audience. You strive for harmonious cohesive teamwork.
    •    You have knowledge of Microsoft Office such as Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Project.
