What are your contributions to the team?

•    Be responsible for all New Product Development activities at a Platform level (Multi-Program) 
•    Support Aircraft Design activities through the BES Phases and champion design for manufacturing and design for cost requirements
•    Develop an experienced multi-disciplined team to support the project requirements
•    Develop the Operational Business Case including the alignment and approval process within the Operations executive team
•    Work collaboratively with Supply Chain and Industrialization to develop the optimal manufacturing strategy that supports the long term company objectives
•    Work Closely with Advanced Design to study and optimize aircraft configurations.
•    Prepare and assess feasibility of technical trade studies. 
•    Lead manufacturing activities for major interfaces between Structural / Systems Suppliers.
•    Lead advanced manufacturing initiatives that support New Product Development
•    Evaluate and propose best manufacturing and assembly technologies.
•    Define and develop final assembly methodology and integration.
•    Overview Suppliers activities to ensure compliance to BA requirements and Design methodologies and rules.
•    Review, refine and document all Product Development Manufacturing Deliverables 
•    Elaborate risk management matrix and mitigation plans
•    Familiar with problem solving, establish recovery plans to meet deadlines.
•    Define governance and visibility for achieving projects goals: content, scope of work, costs, risks. 

How to thrive in this role?

•    You hold a university degree in Manufacturing / Aeronautical Engineering or equivalent College degree in Aircraft Manufacturing.
•    You have more than 15 years of experience in aerospace manufacturing; advanced knowledge in varied aircraft manufacturing disciplines and integration
•    New product development experience is an asset
•    You are a strong leader who can effectively collaborate with other functions to achieve the project’s desired results
•    You have the ability to build a strong technical organization
•    You have knowledge in the engineering and manufacturing processes of the aerospace industry
•    You have a project management mindset with the ability to develop governance models that ensure successful execution of the plan
•    You are autonomous, result-driven, and enthusiastic with strong work ethic 
•    You have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. 
•    You have strong communication skills and can easily tailor your communication to suit the audience. You strive for harmonious cohesive teamwork.
•    You have knowledge of Microsoft Office such as Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Project.
