What are your contributions to the team?

  • Research, design and evaluate new technical concepts or emerging technologies.
  • Validate these concepts in the Innovation laboratory with actual mockups.
  • Organize and attend design reviews taking into consideration industry regulations, Bombardier Aerospace Design Practices and requirements.
  • Participate in product innovation and Support upholstery and seats mechanical system development.
  • Collaborate with different internal parties (Operations, Projects, Programs, Technical, etc.) as well as suppliers on daily basis.
  • Coordinate all stakeholders, gain commitment and leads for results.
  • Support Program Change Requests (PCR). Coordinate technical integration meetings, analyze, and define technical proposals to meet customer and operation needs.
  • Support Request For Change (RFC). Present RFC at change board and communicate with all stakeholders of a production, configuration, compliance and/or other problem and request actions to change documents, drawings, specifications, nomenclature etc.
  • Be in direct contact with suppliers and be responsible for the delivery of quality engineering documentation that meets Bombardier Standards.
  • Participate in Design reviews and have a good understanding and interpretation of regulatory and industry requirements.

How to thrive in this role?

  • You are a recent graduate with a bachelor’s degree in engineering or a DEC in aeronautics or mechanics with up to a maximum of five (5) years of experience.
  • You have experience working with CATIA V5, ENOVIA, AutoCAD, Rhinoceros, Alias, Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • You understand product structure and relational modeling.
  • You are well organized and are project oriented.
  • You must be a self-motivated person, a team player able to work under pressure and under a minimum of supervision.
  • You have good communication skills including good English writing skills, and good English and French verbal skills.
