What are your contributions to the team?
• Design, build, and maintain robust and scalable data pipelines to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources into data warehouses or data lakes;
• Integrate data from multiple sources, including internal databases, third-party APIs, and external data feeds, to provide an output based on business requirements;
• Implement data quality checks, validation procedures, and data governance practices to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and compliance with industry standards;
• Interact with different organizations to ensure seamless integration of the provided solution;
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for data pipelines, processes, and system architectures to ensure transparency and ease of maintenance;
• Identify and resolve data-related issues and risks, including debugging data pipelines and addressing data quality concerns;
How to thrive in this role?
• You have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Aerospace, or a related field with a minimum of 5 years in data engineering;
• You have good knowledge of Python & SQL (SQL Server, Oracle, etc.);
• You have good knowledge in Machine Learning & AI (asset);
• You have good knowledge of Operating Systems (Windows), MS Office (MS Access VBA, MS Excel VBA), PowerBI, SharePoint (Power Query, Power Apps, Power Automate);
• You demonstrate a professional attitude and superior communication skills (essential);
• You have excellent organizational, time management skills, foresight, accuracy, attention to detail and commitment to objectives and responsibilities;
• You have a proactive attitude and ability to manage multiple priorities;
• You have a strategic mind and an attention to details, supporting your interest for taking over responsibilities;
• You are self-motivated, autonomous and enthusiastic;
• You demonstrate ability to work willingly and independently in a fast paced, challenging environment;
• You have effective problem-solving skills with ability to make good decisions to move projects along to meet or exceed the targets;
