What are your contributions to the team?
- Be part of a dynamic team of software developers, business process experts and project managers
- Design, implement and maintain business intelligence and performance accuracy tools in support of Engineering
- Find the most effective ways to present information and facilitate decision making
- Perform data modelling for proper analysis and insight
- Improve existing performance tracking and other tools into a harmonized ecosystem
- Help build the roadmap for business intelligence growth within Engineering
- Provide support and guidance to colleagues within Engineering who use the Microsoft Power Platform capabilities
- Have an interest in collaborating on the artificial engineering vision
- Coordinate with other BI developers in the company to optimize the use of common data pipelines and have a shared vision
- Interface with the PLM and ERP systems
- Evolve in a flexible and hybrid work environment where part of the time can be spent working remotely (subject to change)
How to thrive in this role?
- You have a bachelors degree in computer science, information technology or equivalent
- You gained a minimum of 3 years of experience using Microsoft PowerBI, Tableau or equivalent
- You have previously developed effective dashboards
- You are knowledgeable in database management, SQL querying and data modeling
- You have experience with data warehouses and/or datalakes (an asset)
- You know how to write code using Python (an asset)
- You are attentive to detail and are able to clearly convey information
- You demonstrate excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in English and French, and have the capacity to train and/or guide others
- You work well in a team, both with developers and business analysts
- You have some experience using the various Microsoft Power Platform capabilities
- You are comfortable using the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- You possess strong analytical, planning, problem solving skills, as well as a good business sense
- You are organized, autonomous and manage your time effectively
