What are your contributions to the team?
- Perform complex analyses of coupled fluid-heat transfer CFD, pipe network flow, heat transfer and thermodynamics
- Understand and frame the CFD results within the context of the design and right sizing of an aircraft
- Prepare test plans
- Document analysis, ground and flight test results
- Write and update Engineering practice documents
How to thrive in this role?
- You have a Master’s in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
- (Including fluid mechanics, heat transfer, in-flight icing, heat transfer and CFD analyses)
- You have a minimum of 2 years of experience in complex CFD analyses (coupled fluid & heat transfer) with combined internal and external flows.
- You have a minimum of 2 years of experience with pipe network analyses and Inlets and outlet design.
- Self-motivated and innovative team player.
- You have a good knowledge of MS Office software (advanced level for Excel)
- You are familiar with programming, complex codes and interfacing with an HPC
- (Unix Operating System and with programming languages such as Fortran 77/95, Visual Basic, C/C++ & Python is an asset)
- You possess good interpersonal skills as well as good written and oral communication skills
- Willing to travel for short term assignments
