What are your contributions to the team?
- Develop short- and mid-term capacity plans for labor and factory space.
- Communicate sector plans and any changes to stakeholders.
- Track and measure adherence to sector plans (cycle times and hours behind schedule).
- Create and harmonize the Master Production Schedule (MPS).
- Prepare scenarios to support manufacturing strategies, including: Workforce impact visibility, Factory space impact visibility, Risk assessment for each scenario, Recommendation of the preferred scenario.
- Ensure alignment between planners, the Master Schedule, and production teams.
- Collaborate with multiple cross-functional teams (Production, Internal & Supply Chain Logistics, Methods, Industrial Engineering, and Quality).
- Operate effectively in a unionized environment.
- Support and participate in continuous improvement initiatives and projects.
How to thrive in this role?
- You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations and Logistics Management, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- You have 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in production planning.
- You demonstrate strong organizational and time-management skills and are able to work independently.
- You are able to work in a structured and methodical manner with limited supervision.
- You have strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills, as well as solid interpersonal abilities.
- You demonstrate excellent communication skills, are results-oriented, and thrive in a team environment.
- You are highly proficient with the MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project).
- You have knowledge of SAP APO ERP systems.
- You demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills and are fluent in both French and English.
