What are your contributions to the team?
• Develop the master plan (strategic production plan) for the medium to long term (1 to 10 years) to meet Bombardier's commercial and budgetary objectives.
• Define production rates for the various sectors to meet the master plan.
• Communicate the plan for its sectors and its modifications at a director, VP, and executive level.
• Monitor and measure sectors' adherence to the master plan (efficiency, rate, and hours of delay).
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate or define integration strategies for new products.
• Analyze deviations from production plans and propose solutions by applying planning strategies.
• Create and maintain performance reports.
• Understand labor plan, component demand plan, job progress report, rate summary, positions, industrial engineering recipes, and learning curve.
• Collaborate in the implementation of a recovery plan in the event of non-conformance or delays on the production line.
• Manage the production date publication platform (access, maintenance, collaboration with the development team, interrelations with other production management systems).
• Support the product change management process and transpose modifications into the detailed plan.
• Interact with several cross-functional teams (Sales, Finance, Production, Internal Logistics, Procurement, Methods, Engineering, and Quality).
• Support/participate in improvement projects.
How to thrive in this role? Skills, knowledge & experience :
• You have at least five (5) to ten (10) years of relevant experience in planning.
• You are highly efficient in the use of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project).
• You must be organized, manage your time efficiently, and be a self-starter.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is a major asset.
• You have good analytical, communication, planning, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
• You are an open-minded team player.
• You have excellent oral and written communication skills and are fluent in French and English (English is required for collaboration with other production sites in North America).
• You are comfortable communicating daily at the director level and regularly at the VP and executive level.
