What are your contributions to the team?
- Contribute to cross-functional initiatives that promote engineering excellence through integrated and standardized business processes.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts, Programs, and BES Governance to confirm content alignment, accuracy, ownership, and readiness for publication.
- Facilitate the creation, update, and implementation of engineering processes, procedures, workflows, templates, and supporting guidance.
- Prepare and maintain engineering procedures and controlled content in accordance with applicable engineering standards, publication rules, and document-control processes.
- Maintain content accuracy, traceability, revision integrity, metadata, and appropriate links across approved content-management platforms.
- Update engineering content on SharePoint and corporate web platforms to support timely and reliable access to information.
- Administer restricted-document access, process access requests, and protect sensitive engineering information.
- Provide user assistance for BES content-management tools, engineering-change workflows, and the Supplier Portal.
- Investigate routine content, access, workflow, and publishing issues; document resolutions and escalate non-routine matters.
- Identify practical improvements to online content, workflows, and user experience, and implement approved changes.
- Use available data and user feedback to recognize recurring issues and support corrective actions.
- Plan and deliver assigned work, communicate status and risks, and maintain effective stakeholder collaboration.
How to thrive in this role?
- University or college degree in engineering technology, engineering, computer science, information management, program or project management, or a related discipline.
- Typically 2-5 years of relevant experience in aerospace, engineering processes, controlled documentation, content management, or project coordination.
- Interest in aerospace, engineering, product development, business processes, and continuous improvement.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret technical content from multiple engineering disciplines.
- Working knowledge of document control, content governance, workflows, access management, traceability, and controlled publication practices.
- Working knowledge of SharePoint and Microsoft 365.
- Exposure to Teamcenter, Power BI, advanced Excel functions or pivot tables, HTML, and web-content design is an asset.
- Ability to work independently on defined assignments while seeking guidance for non-routine decisions.
- Clear communication, facilitation, presentation, organization, and collaborative problem-solving skills.
- Curiosity, initiative, adaptability, sound judgement, and a service-oriented approach.
- Good written and spoken communication skills in English and French
