What are your contributions to the team?

In this role, you are responsible for ensuring that general governance practices, reporting standards, quality frameworks, and performance management routines (including KPI tracking and reporting) are consistently maintained across all transformation initiatives. You serve as the central guardian of governance, standards, and reporting quality, while supporting performance monitoring and sustained alignment with organizational best practices. This position plays a critical role in maintaining operational discipline, enabling transparent performance insights, and supporting the long term success of transformation activities across the organization.


In your role, you will have the following responsibilities:


1. PMO Governance & Framework Maintenance
•    Maintain and continuously improve the PMO ( program management office) governance framework/cockpit, standards, tools, templates, KPIs, and reporting structures.
•    Oversee the operational governance cadence, ensuring that meetings run as scheduled, with proper decision escalation and participation from key stakeholders.
•    Ensure all programs comply with established program management methodologies and transformation requirements.


2. Transformation Sustainment
•    Maintain ownership of all transformation initiatives to ensure long term consistency once implemented, ensuring processes do not regress and remain aligned with strategic objectives.
•    Conduct periodic audits and readiness checks to confirm that teams consistently apply standard work practices.
•    Collect feedback from program teams and recommend improvements to the PMO standards and operating procedures.

How to thrive in this role?

•    You have a degree in business, engineering, project management, or a related field.
•    You have 7+ years of experience in PMO, aerospace, defense, engineering, or complex program environments with demonstrated leadership in project governance or PMO transformation.
•    You have a strong grasp of program management methodologies and defense acquisition lifecycle frameworks.
•    Proven ability to maintain discipline around standards, process adherence, and performance tracking.
•    Proven ability to manage multidisciplinary teams
•    You have exceptional organizational, communication, and governance focused mindset.

Mandatory
•    You are eligible for Canadian Controlled Goods Program clearance (where appropriate) and/or US International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) clearance
•    You are eligible for security clearance at SECRET or above (where appropriate) in either Canada or US
•    You are able to fluently communicate in both English and French (verbal & written) (Asset)
