What are your contributions to the team?
- Be responsible for all aspects of the group both administrative and technical oversight. You will be responsible for the Performance Management Process (PMP) and development of the employees in your group.
- Be responsible of Bombardier’s aircraft reliability (FRACAS) and Direct Maintenance Cost (DMC) data collection, processing, coding and reporting system including:
- Maintain and develop the FRACAS and DMC databases, forecasting models and reporting software tools;
- Provide various aircraft, systems and components reliability statistics, analysis and forecast;
- Develop and monitor aircraft reliability and DMC guarantees as well as supplier’s reliability performance;
- Provide aircraft reliability and DMC support to new aircraft development as well as aircraft and services sales.
How to thrive in this role?
- You hold a collegial degree in Aircraft Maintenance or a University degree in Engineering, specialization in aviation is an asset.
- You have a minimum of ten (10) years’ experience in aviation, preferably on Bombardier Business Aircraft models.
- You have a minimum of ten (10) years’ experience in reliability, statistics as well as aircraft material and labor maintenance cost.
- You have experience in maintaining an Oracle and Azure databricks database system and automated analytical and reporting tools in PowerBi,.
- You exercise your leadership in accordance with the vision and values of Bombardier Aerospace and have good initiative, commitment, entrepreneurship, innovation and judgment.
- You have excellent communication skills, both written and spoken, in English. French communication skills is an asset.
- You have a high level of technical competency, capable of making technical and monetary decisions and recommendations on technical issues.
You have to be available to be on-call and be able to travel occasionally on short notice
