What are your contributions to the team?

  • Lead and mentor a team of project engineers responsible for the planning, coordination, and execution of engineering activities across your platform.
  • Develop and manage detailed engineering schedules and Statements of Work (SOW), including Avionics and Software, ensuring harmonization with overall program milestones
  • Collaborate closely with the platform Integration Team and supporting functions to synchronize engineering plans and priorities.
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for engineering-related schedule risks and lead cross-functional mitigation planning with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support program governance, including oversight of the engineering budget, cost control, and resource utilization.
  • Use performance metrics and KPIs to manage priorities, monitor progress, identify issues, and ensure timely resolution and visibility.
  • Co-chair the engineering change board, ensuring thorough evaluation and completeness of proposed technical solutions.
  • Participate in program reviews, supplier engagements, and technical meetings to represent engineering progress and ensure alignment across stakeholders.
  • Foster a culture of technical ownership, continuous improvement, and best practice implementation in engineering planning and execution.
  • Support resource planning and workload management to optimize team capacity, performance, and development.

How to thrive in this role?

  • You hold a Bachelor degree in Engineering or equivalent. PMI certification is an asset
  • You have a minimum of 10 years of experience working with multidisciplinary and technically complex integration in the Aerospace industry with at least three (3) years of supervisory experience.
  • You have advanced knowledge of project management and knowledge of the BES
  • You have strong people manager and leadership qualities with an ability to mobilize and foster an environment of teamwork within cross-functional teams facilitating discussions and resolving issues to meet the objectives.
  • You have demonstrated leadership behaviors that support putting people first, work in teams, value teamwork, and drive for performance excellence while exhibiting a winning attitude.
  • You have advanced computer skills with a knowledge and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Project) as well as databases and PLM and ERP systems applications
  • You are willing to travel and work outside of normal business hours on occasion
  • You have logical and flexible mindsets, shows initiative, and demonstrate overview/detailed approaches.
  • You have strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence and build consensus without formal authority
  • You must be fluent in both French and English.
