What are your contributions to the team?

Senior Advisor, Ethics and Compliance – Controls (Temporary - 4 months)

 

-    Support the team in its Kaizen initiative aimed at resolving issues related to Export Control Classification Numbers (ECCNs) and other codes required for exporting parts.
-    Map the current process for entering new part numbers by meeting with all stakeholders to understand their roles and interactions.
-    Analyze the risks associated with the current process and identify the necessary controls to effectively mitigate them.
-    Conduct validation tests as needed to assess the effectiveness of existing controls and ensure compliance with the established process.
-    Identify best practices and provide concrete recommendations for continuous process improvement.
-    Support the onboarding of the new team member by helping her understand the Ethics & Compliance (E&C) risk environment and assisting with the update of the risk management module.

How to thrive in this role?

-    You have a bachelor's degree business administration, or other relevant field;
-    You have a minimum of 8 to 10 years' relevant professional experience in internal audit, operational controls, or in a similar sector;
-    You have a sound knowledge of auditing standards, principles and techniques.
-    You have experience in conducting risk and maturity assessments.
-    You have strong project and process management skills and demonstrated leadership skills in managing complex projects with internal stakeholders from different functions.
-    You have strong analytical skills and excellent communication skills.
-    You work with rigor and attention to detail, and are able to maintain discretion in handling confidential information.
-    You have excellent written and oral communication skills in English and French.
-    You have an excellent knowledge of MS Office applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
