What are your contributions to the team?

•    Lead the development, drafting, maintenance and continuous improvement of Bombardier’s Ethics & Compliance policies, directives and related documents, ensuring they remain practical, effective and aligned with business needs.
•    Analyze, document and understand complex business processes and the controls that support them, translating them into clear, practical and user-friendly policies and directives that can be effectively implemented across the organization.
•    Serve as the central point of coordination for policy management within Ethics & Compliance, proactively identifying opportunities to improve, simplify and modernize existing policies and processes.
•    Collaborate closely with stakeholders across the organization, including Legal, Human Resources, Procurement, Finance, Information Technology and business units, to develop, review and implement corporate policies and directives.
•    Build strong relationships with process owners and subject matter experts to gain a thorough understanding of business operations and ensure that policies accurately reflect organizational practices, responsibilities and controls.
•    Monitor industry trends, emerging best practices and organizational changes, and proactively recommend updates to policies and directives to address evolving risks and business needs.
•    Provide practical Ethics & Compliance guidance on the interpretation and application of internal policies, helping stakeholders navigate complex situations and make informed decisions.
•    Conduct periodic reviews and updates of Bombardier’s Code of Ethics and Supplier Code of Conduct to ensure alignment with evolving business expectations.
•    Manage the approval process related to Donations, Sponsorships and Memberships supporting community engagement initiatives.
•    Act as an Ethics & Compliance subject matter expert on corporate projects and strategic initiatives, ensuring compliance requirements, controls and business processes are appropriately considered from concept through implementation.
•    Support the international compliance organization in the design, communication and deployment of global compliance initiatives that promote a strong culture of integrity throughout the company.

•    You have significant experience drafting, reviewing and managing corporate policies, preferably in an Ethics & Compliance, Risk Management, Internal Controls or Legal environment.
•    You excel at transforming complex business processes into clear, practical and actionable policies, standards, directives and procedures.
•    You are recognized for your ability to quickly understand how an organization operates, identify key roles, responsibilities and controls, and translate them into clear and effective documentation.
•    You are naturally curious and proactive, continually seeking opportunities to improve policies, processes and controls to ensure they remain relevant, practical and aligned with business needs.
•    You are skilled at engaging stakeholders at all levels of the organization, asking insightful questions and gathering the information needed to develop policies that accurately reflect operational realities.
•    You have strong analytical skills and the ability to understand complex business processes, identify key requirements and obligations, and translate them into clear, practical and operational guidance.
•    You are comfortable working with cross-functional teams and can build credibility and influence without direct authority.
•    You hold a bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration or another relevant field.
•    You have a minimum of 8 to 10 years of relevant experience in ethics, compliance, risk management, law or a related field.
•    You possess strong knowledge of ethics and compliance principles, policy management practices and corporate processes, or demonstrate a strong interest in these areas.
•    You thrive in a fast-paced environment, effectively managing multiple priorities and competing deadlines.
•    You have exceptional written communication skills in both English and French (bilingualism is essential) and a talent for simplifying complex concepts into clear, concise and practical guidance.
•    You demonstrate a high level of rigor, attention to detail and professionalism, and can manage sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
•    You enjoy balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution and take pride in developing policies and guidance that are both compliant and operationally effective.
