What are your contributions to the team?

  • Ensure program effectiveness and "audit readiness" according to national and international standards.
  • Identify, analyze and assess company-wide compliance risks and work with stakeholders to establish risk mitigation measures.
  • Follow up on compliance risk action plans and mitigation measures identified within the company and ensure their implementation.
  • Prepare quarterly compliance risk reports for each organization
  • Plan, develop and carry out compliance validations and verifications for the company's various Ethics & Compliance (E&C) processes, based on the main risks identified.
  • Identify breaches and deviations from E&C processes and internal policies, and work with stakeholders to mitigate risks and implement appropriate controls.
  • Develop new processes and support existing processes to identify and address compliance risks and red flags.
  • Collaborate with the Internal Audit team in their assessment of E&C processes.
  • Proactively identify and implement program improvements, promoting alignment between stakeholders.
  • Provide compliance guidance and advice on various E&C programs within the company.
  • Support the E&C Team in the implementation of corporate compliance initiatives.

How to thrive in this role? Skills, knowledge & experience:

  • You have a bachelor's degree in business administration, law or other relevant field (process optimization).
  • You have a minimum of 8 to 10 years' relevant professional experience in internal audit, operational controls, ethics and compliance, or in a similar sector.
  • You have a sound knowledge of auditing standards, principles and techniques.
  • You have experience in conducting risk and maturity assessments.
  • You are autonomous in your work and have strong skills in understanding various internal processes.
  • You have experience in an aerospace or manufacturing environment.
  • You have strong project and process management skills and demonstrated leadership skills in managing complex projects with internal stakeholders from different functions.
  • You have excellent knowledge of, or a keen interest in, applicable ethics and compliance practices and principles.
  • You have a very good understanding of business correlations.
  • You are comfortable in a deadline-driven, results-oriented environment, and are able to adapt to rapidly changing priorities. 
  • You have the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate across all levels of the organization, including senior executives.
  • You are culturally sensitive, confident, persuasive, assertive, agile, focused and ready to make decisions.
  • You work with rigor and attention to detail and are able to maintain discretion in handling confidential information.
  • You have excellent written and oral communication skills in English and French.
  • You have an excellent knowledge of MS Office applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
  • You are available to travel, as this role may require occasional travel.
