Short Description
The Senior Analyst, Compliance Risk Management supports the implementation and continuous improvement of Bombardier’s Compliance Risk Management Framework. The role assists in identifying, assessing, monitoring, and reporting compliance risks across the organization while partnering with risk owners, compliance subject matter experts, Legal, Internal Audit, and business stakeholders.
What are your contributions to the team?
Compliance Risk Management
- Support enterprise compliance risk assessments and maintain the compliance risk register.
- Facilitate interviews, workshops, and discussions with risk owners and stakeholders.
- Identify and assess emerging compliance risks arising from regulatory changes, audits, investigations, incidents, and business developments.
- Conduct research, analysis, and benchmarking to support risk assessments.
- Monitor risk mitigation plans, follow up on action items, and support the validation and closure of mitigation activities.
Regulatory Monitoring & Analysis
- Monitor regulatory developments and emerging compliance trends.
- Assess the potential impact of new regulatory requirements on the organization.
- Conduct research, benchmarking, and data analysis to support risk assessments and decision-making.
- Support the development of analytics, dashboards, and technology solutions that enhance compliance risk management.
Stakeholder Engagement & Reporting
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to promote awareness of compliance risks and risk management best practices.
- Support stakeholders throughout compliance risk management activities and processes.
- Prepare risk reports, dashboards, presentations, and materials for management and governance committees.
How to thrive in this role?
- You have 3–5 years of experience in Compliance, Risk Management, Internal Audit, or a related field.
- You have experience supporting enterprise risk assessments, compliance programs, audits, and control monitoring activities.
- You have experience coordinating projects and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders.
- You have experience preparing reports, presentations, dashboards, and management-level analyses.
- You demonstrate strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- You possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- You have strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
- You have advanced proficiency in PowerPoint and can develop impactful executive-level presentations.
- You have knowledge of risk management frameworks, methodologies, and best practices.
- You have an understanding of compliance and regulatory risk management principles.
- You have experience maintaining risk registers, compliance management systems, or similar governance tools.
- You have experience working in a highly regulated industry, such as aerospace, aviation, manufacturing, defense, transportation, or financial services.
- You hold a professional certification such as CCEP, CRMP, CIA, or CRMA, or you are willing to pursue one.
