What are your contributions to the team?
- Support the Product development Director in leading Strategic initiative to reduce cost and schedule for New Development Programs.
- Responsible for developing strategies and roadmap of activities to achieve cost and schedule objectives.
- Foster a Data Analytics approach, AI and Digitalization to develop best solutions, tools and process improvements to position Bombardier as a leading company in New Product Development
- Responsible for the planning, integration and execution of cross-functional teams work scope
- Propose the implementation of technical innovations based on knowledge of industry trends through Advanced Design and Strategic Technology
- Recommend new cost-effective engineering solutions through Knowledge Domains and Programs
- Participate in decision and rulemaking in area(s) of specialization
- Collects and dispositions Lessons Learned with KD for community cross programs
- Coordinate product upgrades and technology insertion with sustaining product Program Management
- Understands well the New Product Development process and adherence (TRL, Maturity & Exit Gate Criteria, BES, and Program Management standards)
- Influence the Product Planning strategy definition and vision by maintaining competitive landscape of technologies and performance of non-Bombardier models
- Perform RoM business cases and statements of work for technical studies Lead aircraft studies having multi-disciplinary inputs including identification of funding source
How to thrive in this role?
- Bachelor or master's degree in engineering. May have a PHD related directly to a field of expertise
- Over 15 year or more of relevant experience in a specific aerospace engineering field
- Has experience on at least 2 or more development programs
- Expert in one or more areas
- Highly recommended, has an international reputation
- Advanced knowledge in Program Management for Product Development and a breadth of knowledge of many aircraft systems and operating regulations
