What are your contributions to the team?

•    Work within the Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Center of Expertise as a leading expert in the Environment to support the global Environment strategy.
•    Collaborate and support key stakeholders on the strategic development & implementation of the Environmental portion of our ESG plan.
•    Coordinate, validate and consolidate key environmental performance indicators and initiatives linked to the Environmental strategy ,as well as internal / external reporting requirements across the organization.
•    Perform global regulatory monitoring and oversee environmental impact assessments.
•    Ensure that environmental compliance risks are adequately managed across the organization.
•    Provide technical expertise in the definition of Environment targets and the strategy to achieve these targets.
•    Develop & deploy companywide standards & projects related to the Environment
•    Establish communication and awareness mechanisms related to the Environment.
•    Identify best practices and trends in Environment within our industry and leverage across the organization
•    Act as the environment subject matter expert for ISO14001
•    Collaborate with site Environment subject matter experts
 

How to thrive in this role? Skills, knowledge & experience :

•    You have a bachelors or master’s degree in Environment or related field.
•    You have a minimum of 10 years’ experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
•    You are bilingual English/French spoken and written.
•    Solid knowledge of Environmental regulations, carbon markets and cap & trade initiatives
•    Knowledge of the Enablon solution and ISO 14001 is an asset
•    You have strong interpersonal, presentation and communication skills.
•    You are collaborative and able to consolidate information at a global level.
•    You have the ability to think strategically, seek creative solutions, analyze and solve problems.
•    You are autonomous, structured and able to coordinate the implementation of multiple projects simultaneously.
•    You have excellent computer skills and are able to build & deliver effective presentations
