Job Description
Reporting to Operations and the Methods Department, you will act as a coordinator for innovation projects, process improvements, and solution development initiatives aimed at optimizing performance, quality, and operational efficiency.
What are your contributions to the team?
- Participate in meetings with the Engineering Department and multidisciplinary new product integration teams to highlight critical considerations related to final assembly line requirements.
- Support technical teams in developing concepts and ensuring their manufacturability and feasibility.
- Prepare the technical documentation required to implement changes on the final assembly line.
- Develop the preferred product structure for the introduction of new products.Create manufacturing plans and ensure their completion within required timelines.
- Support the manufacturing strategy and ensure alignment with it.
- Act as a coordinator with other Methods functions and represent the Final Assembly Methods team as needed.
Specific Duties
- Attend technical meetings (IPDT) with Engineering.
- Influence engineering teams by promoting "Design for Manufacturing" principles.
- Ensure completion of all required documentation related to product development.Establish governance meetings to monitor ongoing actions and deliverables.
- Develop and maintain the First Unit Inspection (FUI) control schedule.
How to thrive in this role?
- You have a DEC in Aeronautical Technology, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
- You have excellent organizational, analytical, and time management skills.
- You are proficient in CATIA V5, SAP, and Microsoft Office.
- You have a strong team spirit and demonstrate autonomy, sound judgment, and perseverance.
- You have a strong project management aptitude.
- You have strong verbal and written communication skills in French; English is considered an asset.
