What are your contributions to the team?
- Lead internal and external stakeholders in a dynamic new product development environment by setting program priorities and providing clear guidance
- Own the development and management of the strategies, schedules and budget of your project portfolio
- Identify key Program assumptions, risks and issues and provide the necessary planning and leadership to bring to resolution
- Present project schedules, business cases, and program updates at regular reviews with senior management
- Establish and track metrics to monitor performance and progress, prepare status reports and modify schedules and plans as required
- Define and maintain a governance calendar and ensure program milestones and objectives are achieved on schedule and within budget
- Develop and implement control mechanisms to capture costs and monitor program performance
- Initiate and lead special studies and projects
- Escalate to the appropriate level of management as needed
- Establish and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Provide mentorship and guidance to other employees
How to thrive in this role?
- You hold a university degree in engineering or business administration, and have at least 8 years of experience
- You have over 5 years’ experience in program or project management
- You have over 5 years’ experience in aerospace or other manufacturing industries
- You take initiative to mitigate risks and provide recommendations and proposals to move the program forward
- You possess superior communication skills (written & spoken) and the ability to influence at different levels of the organization
- You can thrive in challenging dynamic environment
- You have strong project management ability, team leadership skills, and solid analytical, planning, and problem-solving abilities
- You have in-depth knowledge of aircraft development and production
- You can coordinate and lead effective meetings and presentations
- You are computer literate, particularly in MS Office suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Project and Power BI) and TEAMS
