What are your contributions to the team?

The Program Management Office (PMO) is seeking a highly motivated programs specialist to our customer request processes with the objective of improving the quality of our services, our profitability and our customer experience. More precisely, the selected individual will be requested to recognize and analyze opportunities to improve our operational flexibility. You will also be responsible to define and implement the required tools and lead the customer request digitalization. To make it happen, you will organize workshops with members of the engineering, methods, industrial engineering, quality, supply chain and the customer facing teams to identify the various opportunities. Furthermore, you will be responsible to follow execution of your strategic initiatives as part of the master plan. 

 

  • Elaborate and propose different process improvement initiatives and strategies to increase revenue through the analysis of our value chain;
  • Plan and elaborate, with the stakeholders, the business strategy to support the strategic improvement initiatives;
  • Own the development and management of the strategies, schedules and budget of your project; 
  • Establish and track metrics to monitor performance and progress, prepare status reports and modify schedules and plans as required; 
  • Provide day-to-day leadership to cross-functional teams; 
  • Present project schedules, business cases and updates at regular reviews with senior management; 
  • Identify key project risk items, with corresponding risk mitigation or reduction strategies; 
  • Escalate to the appropriate level of management as needed; 
  • Establish and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

How to thrive in this role?

  • You hold a bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business; 
  • You have a technical, manufacturing, business development, sales or supply chain background in aerospace (considered an asset); 
  • You have more than twelve (12) years of relevant experience; 
  • You possess initiative, are results driven, and have the desire to make decisions; 
  • You have strong project management experience, team leadership skills as well solid analytical, planning, and problem-solving abilities; 
  • You possess superior communication skills (written & spoken) and the ability to influence at different levels of the organization; 
  • You can work under pressure and tight deadlines, and still deliver on commitments; 
  • You are customer oriented and innovative in problem solving
