Our team :

Our team (Control Laws/Stability and Control - Claws/S&C) is responsible for ensuring appropriate aircraft flight characteristics. Key activities include designing/developing and testing Fly-by-Wire (FBW) flight control laws for the next generation Bombardier Aircrafts. Moreover, the team contributes to the development of new or derivative aircraft (including missionized aircraft) and supports continued airworthiness of in-service aircraft. The team also actively participates in flight testing activities and closely interacts with regulatory authorities to ensure safety and compliance to airworthiness requirements.

During your internship, you will contribute to:

  • Become familiar with the analysis tools related to wind tunnel testing
  • Recommend and implement changes to, C++ tools
  • Document work performed in an official Bombardier memo

What we are looking for:

  • Have completed 3rd year undergraduate in Computer Science or Software Engineering
  • Are proficient with advanced C++ coding
  • Have a passion for developing new tools
  • Know Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office Package

It is important to note that our internship opportunities are open to students only, not new graduates. All our interns may be required to occasionally travel outside of Canada for training/work purpose.
