What will your contributions be to the team?
As a Preflight Mechanic, you will play a key role in preparing and assembling new aircraft. You will perform inspections, functional tests, and adjustments on mechanical systems, ensuring the safety and proper operation of aircraft before delivery.

  • Read and interpret technical plans and drawings
  • Install and repair mechanical components
  • Perform functional tests and adjustments on aircraft systems
  • Inspect and maintain mechanical systems (e.g., hydraulic, pneumatic, fuel, air conditioning, doors, landing gear, flight controls, etc.)
  • Prepare aircraft for flights (refueling, daily inspections)
  • Participate in engine and APU (auxiliary power unit) tests
  • Perform modifications according to service bulletins while complying with industry standards
  • Carry out any other related tasks

How can you thrive in this role?

  • DEC or AEC in Aircraft Maintenance, or
  • M2 License, or
  • EASA B1 License, or
  • A&P (FAA) Certification

What are your contributions to the team?

This position includes those employees hired to perform service, troubleshooting, repairs and maintenance for aircraft, power plants, mechanical systems and other related systems, to perform necessary modifications or functional tests, to operate the work cart for the movement of aircraft, and other related tasks.

How to thrive in this role?

The pre-flight technicians must be familiar with the aircraft parts and materials and shop procedures, and they also have to possess excellent mechanical skills. They must also have an aircraft maintenance training certificate or an equivalent combination of training and experience recognized by the Employer.
