What are your contributions to the team?
In your role, you will:
• Work in a tightly integrated, multidisciplinary team focused on determining, establishing and communicating strategic initiatives to the engineering organization.
• Participate with stakeholders and leadership to gather and structure requirements and strategies, develop and align organization goals and effectively manage communications within the organization at all levels.
• Create, schedule and track major engineering strategic initiatives while managing priorities and ensuring they are communicated and harmonized;
• Act as an ambassador of change and inspire stakeholders to adopt the strategic vision in their day-to-day activities;
• Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to strategic projects progress, community adoption and satisfaction. Provide regular reports on progress and outcomes to stakeholders;
• Identify and address resistance to change by working with individuals and teams to understand their concerns and provide solutions to facilitate acceptance;
• Prepare and present visibility reports at various governances to different layers of the organization;
• Analyze large amounts of data to identify trends allowing efficient decision-making for strategic direction;
How to thrive in this role?
As our ideal candidate:
- You have a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Aerospace, Communications or relevant experience and skills that support managing strategic priorities.
- You posses a minimum of 3 to 8 years of relevant experience
- You are educated and experienced in project management (A PMP certification is considered an asset);
- You have an understanding of corporate structure, strategic planning & vision (Bombardier experience is an asset);
- You demonstrate a professional attitude and superior communication skills (essential);
- You have excellent organizational, time management skills, foresight, accuracy, attention to detail and commitment to objectives and responsibilities;
- You have a proactive attitude and ability to manage multiple priorities;
- You have a strategic mind and an attention to details, supporting your interest for taking over responsibilities;
- You are self-motivated, autonomous and enthusiastic;
- You excel in a small, tightly-knit group of professionals;
- You demonstrate ability to work willingly and independently in a fast paced, challenging environment;
- You have effective problem-solving skills with ability to make good decisions to move projects along to meet or exceed the targets;
- You have good computing skills; proficient in MS Office (mainly PowerBI, MS Excel, MS Project, Sharepoint, etc.) is an asset.
