As a Train Driver/Operator you will be responsible for carrying out those functions pertaining to the safe, courteous and efficient operation of assigned vehicles.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Operate LRV in revenue and non-revenue service in strict compliance with the rule book and procedures pertaining to testing, commissioning and operations;

- Provide support when called for, to assist technicians doing installation, test, commissioning, modifications, repairs, operation, and/or maintenance of equipment;

- Perform routine and special operations, recovering from on board vehicle failures of a minor nature;

- Making public address announcements and exercising prudent judgment under a variety of conditions which may occur during a given tour of duty.


- Completion of grade 12 High school diploma or GED;

- Must have a valid Province of Alberta Driver’s License Class "5" or higher;

- Solid experience driving/operating vehicles;

- Experience in electro-mechanical systems and trouble shooting skills an asset.
