In your role, you will

  • Modify and verify work instructions for 3, 4 and 5 axis CNC machines.

  • Understand programming language, ISO, miscellaneous codes (G and M codes).

  • Define, implement and optimize machining strategies for medium to intermediate complexity parts.

  • Analyze failures in the communication system and mechanical operation of the machinery.

  • Propose, define and validate tools and tooling involved in the machining process of parts.

  • Collaborate with various work teams in the area in order to maintain a good working environment and overall continuous improvement.

  • Optimize the operation of CNC machines for processing time. 

  • Collaborate and coordinate the problem solving process (PSS).

  • Optimization of manufacturing strategies, cost reduction for implemented parts, cycle time reduction,

  • Participate in the planning and execution of tasks linked to FMP project management.

 

As our ideal candidate

  • Bachelor's degree or engineering in: aerospace, automotive, manufacturing, programming or management.

  • Problem solving skills.

  • CATIA skills (preferred) for CNC programs on 3, 4 and 5 axis machines.

  • Basic English (Reading, Writing and Speaking).

  • Office software (Office).

  • Experience in planning and execution of new projects in a multidisciplinary context.

  • Knowledge in drawing interpretation, GD&T as well as basic/intermediate use of design software, CATIA preferably.

  • Knowledge in core tools (AMEF, APQP, PPAP).
