What are your contributions to the team?
In your role you will:
· Flight Support for Production Flight Tests, return to service flight checks, Interior completion validation.
· Functional Check Flight planning, Flight readiness, Safety of flight assessments.
· Provides technical expertise related to functional checks and aircraft operational issues in support of customer flight operations.
· Communicating to Pre-flight, Engineering and Delivery personnel on the planning, execution and results of the aircraft checks (ground and/or flight).
· Produce an aircraft summary report.
· Work closely with other Flight Test Engineers assigned to the Global Express aircraft.
· Review and provide inputs for customer flight manuals, flight manual supplements, pilot manuals and other technical engineering reports.
· Conduct briefing for customer management reviews, as necessary.
· Provides direct liaison with Customer on specific technical or operational issues.
· Observe company and Transport Canada rules and regulations,
· be familiar with FAA and EASA requirements, and
· the proper use of safety and risk mitigation methods and the safe operation of equipment.
· Support Bombardier Flight Test Centre on an as required basis.
· Performs other related duties as assigned.
How to thrive in this role?
As our ideal candidate:
· You must have a minimum of five (5) years of flight experience or equivalent
· You must be very familiar with most flight test procedures and requirements.
· You have a strong familiarity with Transport Canada, FAA and EASA Certification processes and procedures.
· You must be able to maintain an Transport Canada Class 1 Medical Certificate.
· You hold a Commercial/multi-engine pilot license.
· You have working knowledge of aircraft systems and operations.
· You have ability and willingness to work irregular hours.
· You also have ability to travel on short notice.
· You have computer skills necessary to learn and/or operate word processing, spreadsheet, database, email, and web-based applications.
· You have strong communication skills (written and spoken).
