We are currently looking to recruit a Lead Planner for our main site in Hennigsdorf, Germany.


The Lead Planner needs to challenge all inputs from all parties and regularly tracks and reports progress against the baseline schedule and continuously monitors risks and opportunities as well as proactively develops scenarios, mitigation or back-up plans required. He/She produces schedule-related KPI’s as required by the project.


• Responsible for setting up project Level 1 plans, establishing, communicating and updating the Level 1 Schedule baseline based on common objectives within the project;

• Accountable for leading the harmonization and integration of Level 2 schedules (with support from Product development Schedulers – PdS and planners from other divisions of BT including ROQ) from all parties (functions, subdivisions) involved in the project;

• Responsible for frequently monitoring critical path(s) of the schedule to identify risks and opportunities and develop mitigation or recovery plans;

• Regularly track and report progress against the baseline schedule and give updates with any and all Project Schedule assumptions, hypothesis, baseline, progress or delays to secure that implications to the EAC are monitored;

• Continuously monitor risks and opportunities as well as proactively develop scenarios, mitigation or back-up plans;

• Produce schedule-related KPI’s as required by the project;

• Report to the PF Planning & Performance Manager application of the appropriate planning Standards (schedules, resource schedule, WBS);

• Support and ensure consistency of the project scope and schedule Vs the overall Product Family product development scope and schedule.


• Engineering degree or degree in Business administration / Management is an asset;

• Working experience either in Engineering, Project Management, Operations, Procurement, Bids, Sales, or Finance;

• Practical experience of generating and maintaining schedules in Primavera P6 software;

• Planning experience on projects of similar scale & proven track record (e.g. PMP);

• Knowledge of Scheduling techniques, Earned Value Techniques, Critical Path Management Techniques;

• Knowledge of “System Engineering” design methodology (including V&V/V cycle principles) is an asset;

• English fluent (other languages are an advantage).
