What are your contributions to the team?
- Perform technical work to reduce cycle times, improve quality and reduce costs of parts used in aircraft manufacturing and assembly operations;
- Participate in the development of new manufacturing processes for composite structural parts;
- Participate in the improvement and development of new processes for the automated machine park - automated riveters, assembly robots and AFP robot
- Conduct reliability studies of processes used ;
- Plan, monitor and manage the projects for which you will be responsible;
- Write test plans and support their realization;
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and production support;
- Initiate problem solving for problems encountered by the team;
- Communicate results as technical documents and presentations;
- Participate in the analysis of nonconformities in order to put in place technical solutions;
- Research new technologies that can improve the manufacturing processes;
- Optimize current processes with the latest technologies available on the market;
- Participate in research and development projects;
- Participate in the acquisition of new equipment’s;
How to thrive in this role?
- You have a Diploma of College Studies in Composite Materials and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Automated Engineering Production;
- You have a very good knowledge of the processes used in the design and manufacture of composite parts;
- You have experience with automated systems, including robotics (Kuka), vision and man-machine interfaces.
- You have a minimum of (5) years of experience in the manufacture of composite parts or assembly of aeronautical components;
- You have a strong analytical mind and be able to understand the technical requirements for applying them to a manufacturing process.
- You are able to coordinate a multi-disciplinary team and have good communication and organizational skills.
- You master the basic features of Catia V5;
- You have a basic knowledge of FiberSim software;
- Programming notions (VB, C, ...) and robotic experience are an asset.
- You have work experience in a unionized environment;
- You have good knowledge of dimensional / geometrical tolerancing (GD & T) and are able to analyze technical drawings;
- You are able to write analysis reports;
- You are able to express your ideas clearly and concisely;
- You are able to manage multiple projects at the same time;
- You have teamwork skills;
- You demonstrate innovative spirit;
- You show rigor and concern for quality
- You are an independent, resourceful candidate who likes to take initiatives;
- Have a good command of French and English language, written and spoken.
