Aircraft Structural Design and Project Management Intern – Advanced Structures

What are your contributions to the team?

•    Work within Bombardier’s Advanced Structures Engineering team and collaborate with technical experts and leaders across the organization.
•    Support the tracking and analysis of key performance indicators (KPIs) for the broader engineering organization.
•    Participate in the collection, analysis, and presentation of performance data to support decision-making and improve team effectiveness.
•    Contribute to continuous improvement efforts aligned with operational excellence principles.
•    Support talent development, coaching, and training initiatives across the organization.
•    Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and presentations for managers and key stakeholders.
•    Support design engineers in various aircraft structure design and development activities.
•    Participate in team meetings and contribute to the follow-up of action plans, projects, and organizational priorities.

During your internship, you will have the opportunity to:

How to thrive in this role?

•    You are currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering.
•    You have completed at least two years of university studies.
•    You have a strong interest in project management, continuous improvement, and organizational performance.
•    You possess strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
•    You are proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
•    You have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
•    You are able to work independently while collaborating effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
•    You demonstrate initiative, curiosity, and a strong willingness to learn.
Assets
•    Experience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD), particularly CATIA V5 or Siemens NX.
•    Experience with Power BI, Power Automate, or other data analysis and visualization tools.
•    General knowledge of aircraft structures and associated design principles.
•    Knowledge of project management and/or continuous improvement methodologies.
