What are your contributions to the team?
- Support the deployment and documentation of the TRIM process in Montréal, using the Toronto process as a reference and identifying the adaptations required for the local environment.
- Collect, clean, classify and analyze non-conformance report (NCR) data to identify recurring technical and supplier-related issues.
- Prepare recurring-issue summaries, trend analyses, prioritization inputs and visual management material to support fact-based decisions.
- Assist the team in applying the established prioritization approach based on issue frequency, estimated disruption hours and operational severity.
- Support the definition and tracking of pilot corrective action topics, including problem definition, containment, root-cause investigation, solution standardization and closure evidence.
- Help coordinate working sessions with Engineering, Quality, Methods, Operations and Supply Chain stakeholders, and document decisions, ownership and follow-up actions.
- Maintain action logs, process documentation, dashboards, governance material and lessons learned to support the Montréal rollout.
- Collaborate with the Toronto TRIM team and the Liaison Engineering community to capture best practices and promote alignment across sites.
- Prepare concise presentations and status updates for the corrective action team and operational leadership.
- Contribute to a collaborative environment focused on product integrity, continuous improvement and customer requirements.
- ability to automate data processing using AI tools is an asset
How to thrive in this role?
- You are currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering, or another relevant field.
- You have an interest in aerospace manufacturing, liaison engineering, quality, non-conformance management and continuous improvement.
- You are comfortable working with data and have practical knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Experience with Power BI or other data-visualization tools is an asset.
- You demonstrate analytical thinking and can transform operational data into clear observations and actionable follow-up.
- You are organized, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple actions with appropriate follow-through.
- You are a team player with a collaborative and pragmatic approach.
- You can communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- You have strong written and verbal communication skills in French and English.
- Knowledge of aircraft structures, systems, engineering drawings, CATIA V5, problem-solving methods or root-cause analysis is an asset.
