Signaling ITC (Network) Engineer

PURPOSE OF THE JOB

To install, test and commission the signaling system in accordance with the contractual commitments and applicable process and documents.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Plan, prepare and update installation, Test and Commissioning documents in accordance to Client's requirement and the actual site progress.

• Monitor the site installation activities and ensure sub-contractor's quality of work achieves the desirable quality level.

• Undertake site test & commissioning activities. Undertake functional tests and ensure that all interfaces to the signaling system are appropriately tested according to the specification

• Ensuring that testing activities are carried out in a timely, logical and cost effective manner. Follow internal process to raise any non-conformities found at site.

• Strictly follow the safety rules and procedures as stated in the health and safety plan.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Telecommunication, Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical Engineering or related field

• 2-3 years experience in signaling or other core E&M sub systems

• Experience in setting up the DTS network and radio configuration is required.

• Installation, testing and commissioning experience in railway signaling. Metro with CBTC experience is preferred

• Experience in handling site coordination, customer liaison, public speaking and presentation with different stake holders (i.e. Customer, consultant, subcontractor, interface work packages contractors) is also preferred

• Exposure in supervising junior technical staff would be advantageous.

• Strong proficiency in English is essential

• Computer Skills required: MSOffice, Primavera PM
