What are your contributions to the team?

  • Lead the definition and execution of the Connected Aircraft digital product vision and roadmap
  • Ensure end-to-end development of digital applications, from concept through deployment and operational support
  • Own backlog execution, ensuring prioritization aligns with business value
  • Lead software development teams responsible for front-end, back-end, and application architecture
  • Establish and enforce software development standards, coding practices, and quality assurance processes
  • Ensure application reliability, performance, and maintainability in production, including Level 3 support ownership
  • Lead and develop a multidisciplinary team including developers, Product Owners, Scrum Masters, UX/UI, QA, and Tech Leads
  • Set team objectives, track performance, and support career development and engagement
  • Recruit and build capabilities aligned with long-term product and technology strategy
  • Collaborate closely with peer teams to align development with platform capabilities, data solutions, and aircraft system integration constraints
  • Work with IT, security, and external partners to ensure compliance and scalability
  • Ensure commitments are met in terms of schedule, scope, and quality
  • Monitor application performance and user feedback to drive continuous improvements
  • Define and track key performance indicators aligned with organizational objectives
  • Manage team budget, resource allocation, and vendor relationships

How to thrive in this role?

  • University degree in software engineering, computer science, or related field
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in software development
  • Minimum of 5 years in a leadership role, managing software or product teams
  • Experience delivering digital products in modern, data-driven environments
  • Strong business and strategic mindset, with the ability to align product delivery to value creation

Assets

  • Experience in aerospace and aviation
  • Familiarity with IoT, real-time data monitoring systems or similar domains
  • Experience integrating analytics, AI, or data-driven features into digital products
