What are your contributions to the team?

  • Support Propulsion, Fuel & Pneumatics Systems Engineering team in investigating technical issues & governance;
  • Support engineering deliverables & governance by managing database and following up on outstanding actions;
  • Support Bombardier Operational Excellence System by tracking Key Performance Indicators (KPI) governance;
  • Facilitate meetings, create presentation packages, issue meeting minutes in a timely manner;
  • Develop good working relationships with various departments within Bombardier;
  • Seek continual improvement for internal processes and tools.

How to thrive in this role?

  • You are a student in aerospace, mechanical, electrical, computer or software engineering;
  • You have good oral and technical communication skills in English (French is an asset);
  • You are proficient in MS Office suite, especially Office365; PowerBI and Excel;
  • You possess working knowledge of CATIA V5; MATLAB; Python or SciLab scripts;
  • You possess good interpersonal skills in order to work well with the team and other groups;
  • You are able to work well independently and demonstrate drive and initiative to achieve the goals established;
  • You have previous work experience or have completed an internship;
  • Occassional support outside of normal working hours.

It is important to note that our internship opportunities are open to students only, not new graduates. All our interns may be required to occasionally travel outside of Canada for training/work purpose.
