What are your contributions to the team?

  • Assisting in the governance in major site projects relating to the Methods department
  • Supporting the audit and development of Methods and Operational processes.
  • Supporting the definition and development of new tools and associated business cases for deployment to business.
  • Managing and maintaining Department Budget, Headcount, overhead cost, and operating expenses
  • Producing metrics and governance visibility related to Adherence to Budget/Forecast Governance to the management team
  • Actively support the Bombardier Operational Excellence (BOE) departmental objectives.

During your internship, you will learn…

  • The application of business management applications and software (Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, SQL, VBI, etc.)
  • How to present ideas to multiple areas of the business (Production, Management, Internal Team, etc.)
  • Learn about the functionality and manufacturing of the Global 7500, 6500 & 5500 aircraft
  • Understand the requirements of an Aircraft manufacturing facility
  • Understand what is required to implement and execute projects across an aerospace manufacturing site
  • Key actions to an aerospace manufacturing facility transition with our move to Pearson

How to thrive in this role?

  • You are currently completing a bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Engineering, or Finance with a CGPA above 3.5
  • You are enrolled in a Co-Op / Internship program in Business or Engineering
  • You are proficient in Excel (Mandatory) and programming languages an asset.
  • You demonstrate a professional attitude and superior communication skills (Essential).
  • You have a pro-active attitude and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced, challenging environment.
  • You have excellent organizational, time management skills, foresight, accuracy, attention to detail and commitment to objectives and responsibilities.

It is important to note that our internship opportunities are open to students only, not new graduates. All our interns may be required to occasionally travel outside of Canada for training/work purpose.
