How to thrive in this role?
- You are currently enrolled in the 3rd or 4th year of an undergraduate university program in an Engineering or related discipline.
- You bring strong experience with the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- You can perform effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
- You are detail-oriented, professional, and able to work collaboratively in a team-oriented setting.
- You possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills with fluency in written and spoken English.
What are your contributions to the team?
- Develop skills with Microsoft Office products (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), aircraft management software (MES, NCMS), and gain exposure to scripting languages (Python, SQL, etc.).
- Gain exposure to data-driven tools used in operations, learning how to apply basic models for process optimization and strategic analytics.
- Participate in working-level and senior leadership meetings, gaining profound insights into strategic planning, scheduling, and executive governance.
- Learn about aircraft systems, parts, and the manufacturing assembly line while mastering key soft skills like project management and cross-functional communication.
- Explore how continuous improvement and smart factory initiatives are transforming modern aerospace operations.
- Strengthen key competencies in project management, stakeholder communication, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Create comprehensive business cases and support aircraft operational research projects.

It is important to note that our internship opportunities are open to students only, not new graduates. The base salary for this position is expected to range from CAD $17.95 to CAD $31.00 per hour. The applicable base salary will be determined based on various criteria, at Bombardier’s sole discretion, such as the candidate’s skills, experience and qualifications. All our interns may be required to occasionally travel outside of Canada for training/work purpose.
