What are your contributions to the team?

  • Provide expertise in needs analysis for learning solutions and competency management for all  Bombardier sites
  • Design and develop learning solutions for employees from all levels of the organization (salaried, management and unionized) with the required quality and on time
  • Identify opportunities to improve existing training content and lead related projects
  • Recommend ways of improving learning solutions
  • Influence management and internal customers, to use the best learning techniques
  • Plan, organize and deploy facilitation activities
  • Integrate learning solutions and evaluations in Bombardier LMS
  • Work in partnership with service providers for learning projects
  • Share some initiatives implemented to other groups of the organization

How to thrive in this role Skills, knowledge & experience:

  • You have a university degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or in a field deemed relevant to the position, or a combination of relevant education and experience
  • You have a minimum of four (4) years of relevant experience as an instructional designer or three (3) years as a multimedia designer
  • You are proficient in Adult Learning Theories (e.g., Bloom’s Taxonomy, ADDIE, Kirkpatrick Model, 70-20-10 Learning Model, Design Thinking, Learning Experience Design (LXD), Universal Design for Learning (UDL))
  • You possess strong written and oral command of English (French and/or Spanish are an asset);
  • You have excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite
  • You have excellent knowledge of online content creation software (Articulate Storyline, Articulate Rise or Adobe Captivate) 
  • Have experience with the use of a Learning Management System
  • You are familiar with integrating artificial intelligence (AI) tools and technologies into instructional design processes and employing AI-based content creation tools
  • You strive for continuous improvement, leveraging new learning technologies and drive excellence
  • You are detail-oriented, demonstrate excellent organizational skills and thrive in ambiguous situations
  • Experience in the aerospace or other manufacturing industry is an asset, including familiarity with manufacturing processes, regulations, technical documentation, and competency-based training models
