The Learning Operations Advisor is part of the Organizational Learning Process, Innovation and Enablement team and is responsible for consolidating, aligning, and operationalizing training deployment plans across the organization. The role ensures that learning initiatives are structured, visible, and supported through effective LMS configuration and standardized deployment practices.
Working in close collaboration with site learning teams and stakeholders, this role brings consistency to how training deployments are planned, tracked, and executed at an enterprise level. It also contributes to strengthening LMS practices and enabling more scalable, forward-looking approaches through process improvement, automation, and the introduction of AI-enabled solutions.
What are your contributions to the team?
- Lead the training deployment process by coordinating with site teams and stakeholders, defining methodology and consolidating deployment plans into a centralized enterprise view to ensure alignment across initiatives.
- Review and align deployment approaches to ensure consistency and readiness, identifying gaps or conflicts across timelines, audiences, or requirements
- Build and maintain structured tracking and reporting mechanisms that provide clear visibility into deployment status, progress across key stages, and potential risks
- Configure training solutions within the LMS, including implementing learning structures, assignment logic, and qualification frameworks that support business needs and long-term scalability
- Lead testing and validation activities for new or updated configurations, ensuring functionality, data integrity, and learner experience meet expected standards prior to release
- Evaluate and implement new or non-standard LMS configurations when required, identifying system-based solutions to support evolving training needs and deployment models
- Maintain the qualifications structures within the LMS, ensuring ongoing accuracy and alignment with operational and compliance requirements
- Contribute to the evolution of LMS practices by improving configuration standards, structuring data more effectively, and supporting the long-term reliability of the system
- Develop and maintain standard work instructions and process documentation to support consistent execution of deployment and LMS-related activities
- Map and improve processes related to learning operations with a focus on simplification, efficiency, and consistency across teams, including developing and training conversational agents to support process mapping activities.
- Design and implement automation and AI-enabled solutions to streamline training deployment and coordination activities, reducing manual effort and improving data flow
- Establish automated monitoring mechanisms that provide early visibility into risks, inconsistencies, or system issues, and proactively identify opportunities to improve efficiency across organizational learning processes
How to thrive in this role?
- You have a bachelor degree in a related field such as Human Resources, Business Administration, Learning and Development, or a similar discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- You have a minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience
- You bring solid experience working with learning management systems and are comfortable with configuration concepts, testing practices, and structured data management. Experience with PeopleFluent LMS is considered an asset.
- You have experience working in learning operations, training environments, or similar roles where consolidation, alignment, and structured execution are key. You are highly organized and able to bring clarity and structure across multiple inputs.
- You are familiar with process mapping and continuous improvement and are comfortable documenting workflows and establishing standardized ways of working. Exposure to change management practices is an asset.
- You are comfortable working with data and building tracking tools or reports using Excel, Power BI, or similar solutions.
- You have an interest in automation and emerging technologies, including AI-enabled workflows, and are motivated to improve efficiency and scalability through innovative solutions.
- You possess strong ability to synthesize and align inputs from multiple sources into a clear, structured view
- You are attentive to detail, particularly in LMS configuration and data integrity
- You possess an analytical mindset with the ability to track progress and identify inconsistencies
- You are structured and process-driven approach to work
- You have a continuous improvement mindset with a focus on innovation and efficiency
- You are collaborative and solution-oriented, with a focus on consistency and scalability
- Bilingualism (English and French) is considered an asset.
The base salary for this position is expected to range from CAD $56,500 to CAD $$88,800 per year. The applicable base salary will be determined based on various criteria, at Bombardier’s sole discretion, such as the candidate’s skills, experience and qualifications.
In some cases, the base salary offered may differ from the expected range of base salary listed above.
