In your role, you will:

- Develop new business opportunities with potential customers, covering the complete sale cycle to include targeting, prospecting, and presenting compelling business propositions

- Work effectively with C-Level decision makers (COO, VPs) to develop long term strategic relationships
- Develop and maintain a robust deal pipeline toward targeted entities to continuously grow the business and generate sales
- Explore and expand opportunities beyond the aerospace industry to leverage available capacity and expertise within Bombardier targets
- Manage large scale contracts negotiations and close new business deals with new or existing customers
- Develop and execute a strategic business plan that meets or exceeds established sales goals and supports company revenue and profitability
- Manage accurate and timely sales activity and performance reports
- Analyze report data to project trends and build forecasts with verifiable timelines
- Work closely with other functions such as Operations, Engineering, Quality and Logistics
- Maintain consistent sales growth by continuously establishing new accounts and maintaining existing accounts
- Attend conferences and professional association meetings and promote Bombardier’s products solutions and brand
- Prepare and give presentations to the senior management team
- No direct supervisory responsibilities


As our ideal candidate,

- You hold a university degree in Business, Finance or other related field or equivalent work experience

- MBA is preferred but not required
- Aerospace Degree is also an asset
- You have at least 10-15 years’ experience in Aerostructures business development
- You can demonstrate an understanding and application of complex sales techniques, track record creating, negotiating, and closing multi-million-dollar large-scale deals
- You have experience working with large Aerospace / Aerostructures organizations
- You have proven ability to develop long-term strategic relationships with C-Level decision-makers
- You have demonstrated effectiveness in prospecting
- You have demonstrated ability to define and operationalize sales strategies
- You have excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skill
- You have good organization skills, including but not limited to; prioritizing, scheduling, time management, and developing new business meeting deadlines
- You are detail oriented
- You have the ability to work effectively in a home-based environment
- You are open to travel moderately within North America (25-50%)
