In your role, you will:

- Be part of a very dynamic integrated team involving all technical and operations functions, where you will drive to put forward optimal solutions to meet operational & customer needs.

- Work with suppliers on projects related to mechanical systems components on the Global 5500/6500/7500 (Periphery, Water & Waste, Oxygen & ECS, Tables and Door mechanisms, Seats & Divan, etc.).

- Transform customer demands into engineering content that is doable and realistic.

- Collaborate with different internal parties (Operations, Detailed Design, Projects, Programs, Technical, etc.) as well as suppliers on daily basis.

- Support Program Change Requests (PCR). Coordinate technical integration meetings, analyze, and define technical proposals to meet customer and operation needs.

- Be in direct contact with suppliers and be responsible for the delivery of quality engineering documentation that meets Bombardier Standards.

- Participate in Design reviews and have a good understanding and interpretation of regulatory and industry requirements.

- Ensure system components meet technical and certification requirements.


As our ideal candidate,

- You have a college or University mechanical or aerospace engineering degree or equivalent with a minimum of tree (3) to eight (8) years of relevant experience.

- You have relevant technical business aircraft interiors experience; knowledge of the Global Aircrafts and Periphery Integration is an asset.

- You have solid experience working with Enovia/VPM Nav and Catia (GSD, Assy, Part Body, Drafting, etc.);

- You understand product structure and aircraft certification.

- You have the ability to understand complex engineering issues and are innovative in problem solving.

- You are well organized and are project oriented.

- You must be a self-motivated person, a team player able to work under pressure and under a minimum of supervision.

- You have good communication skills including good English writing skills, and good English and French verbal skills.

- You also demonstrate an excellent track record of meeting your commitments with success.
