In your role, you will:

- Act as the technical specialist for paint and external marking.
- Transform customer demands into feasible and realistic engineering content.

- Collaborate with different internal parties (Operations, Detailed Design, Projects, Programs, Technical, etc.) as well as suppliers on daily basis.

- Support Program Change Requests (PCR). Coordinate technical integration meetings, analyze, and define technical proposals to meet customer and operation needs.

- Oversee & support design teams on regular basis and be responsible for the delivery of quality engineering documentation that meets Bombardier Standards.

- Participate in Design reviews and have a good understanding and interpretation of regulatory and industry requirements.

- Ensure engineering package meet technical and certification requirements.

- Evaluate effort levels for engineering deliverables.

- Coordinate planning with supplier and internal stakeholder.

Qualifications

As our ideal candidate,

You have a college or University mechanical or aerospace engineering degree or equivalent with a minimum of tree (3) to eight (8) years of relevant experience

You have relevant technical experience in interior completion; experience on Global Platform and Paint Design or Integration is an asset

You have solid experience working with Enovia/VPM Nav and Catia (GSD, Assy, Part Design, Drafting, etc.)

You have the understanding of product structure and relational modeling

You have the ability to understand complex engineering issues and are innovative in problem solving.

You are well organized and are project oriented

You must be a self-motivated person, a team player able to work under pressure and under a minimum of supervision.

You have good communication skills including good English writing skills, and good English and French verbal skills.

You also demonstrate an excellent track record of meeting your commitments with success.
