In your role, you will:

-
Act as a Chief of Staff for Bombardier’s chief procurement officer (CPO) and her leadership team

-
Act as a representative of the CPO and the supply chain team in larger cross-functional settings to align priorities of the teams and provide subject matter expertise in the areas the team is responsible for

Lead the development and execution of strategic plans and priorities

-
Establish and monitor stakeholder support activities.

Aid with prioritizing major deliverables and projects of the team, along with driving timelines and quality in order to meet and exceed stakeholder expectations

Support the creation, monitoring and governance surrounding key Strategies and Initiatives by directly working with key stakeholders, aligning with top management and so on.

Identify risks in the supply chain, and develop the appropriate contingency plans to overcome them

Prepare and give presentations to the senior management team

Maintain an inclusive and nurturing work environment that drives employee motivation and engagement

Qualifications

As our ideal candidate,

- You have a Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business administration, Engineering or equivalent and ten (10) to fifteen (15) years of relevant experience

- You have acquired an MBA or other professional designation (an asset)

- You understand the projected direction of the business and political environment and how changes might impact the organization

- You have strong capabilities in operational, commercial, and financial management.

- You can use a combination of logic, analysis, experience, advanced methods, and other resources to make timely decisions and solve problems

- You demonstrate the ability to solve complex problems and create effective and innovative solutions in order to develop solid strategies

- You use a clear understanding of issues and culture to anticipate impacts of decisions and to develop strategy and positions

- You can clearly communicate a vision and need for change within the organization that generates excitement, enthusiasm, and commitment to the process

- You can identify industry trends and external factors that could affect BA

- You understand what motivates the different teams/group in the organization

- You are comfortable interacting/presenting to all levels of management, including senior leadership

- You are detail oriented, focused, rigorous, and committed to meeting deadlines

- Have a high proficiency and are a good communicator in French and English (written and spoken)

- Minimal travel required
