In your role, you will:

• Lead the execution of a creative internal communications strategy & content strategy that supports the vision and strategy for Customer Services & Support.
• Support Bombardier’s strategic internal communications initiatives as needed to ensure accuracy and alignment of messages.
• Collaborate closely with senior leaders to effectively assess their communications needs and provide a successful mix of communications support and guidance;
• Work with subject matter experts to develop briefing documents for internal or external use
• Anticipate potential issues and stay abreast of trends and issues impacting the Bombardier Customer Services & Support team
• Support Bombardier Customer Services & Support at major industry events (occasional travel required)
• Support the development of a creative social media strategies that supports the PR & communications objectives for Customer Services & Support.
• Lead the governance for major marketing and communications projects through rigorous project management & regular meetings with different management levels of the Marketing & Communications and Customer Experience organizations.
• Develop employee-centric communications to help us drive engagement and raise awareness for Bombardier’s business strategy across all levels of the organization;
• Develop communications templates, processes and tools that support our goal of creating a strong communications culture throughout the organization;
• Develop new, effective ways to connect employees with our mission, goals and strategy – especially our non-wired employees;
• Define communications KPIs, tracking their progress and make recommendations for improvement;
• Stay abreast of employee communication best practices and leveraging internal feedback mechanisms to evolve channels and strategy.
• Innovating and imagining new ways to connect employees with our digital strategy;
• Build trusted relationships with internal clients and an international network of communications professionals;
• Allocate and monitor budget according to strategic plans.

Qualifications

As our ideal candidate,

• You have a bachelor’s degree in Communications, PR, Journalism, or the equivalent in years of experience.
• You have more than 6 years of experience in public relations, communications, government affairs or a related discipline with experience as an on-camera spokesperson an asset.
• You have In-depth understanding of communications principles and practices
• You have an understanding of the key principles of strong change management
• You have demonstrated initiative as well as excellent project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities;
• You have proven ability to coach executives, provide candid counsel and act as a trusted advisor;
• You have experience dealing with large-scale change in a matrixed environment;
• You have excellent spoken and written communications skills in English and French;
• You have experience working with leaders, creating impact through strong communications and supporting large-scale organizational changes;
• You have a strategic thinker who’s energized by change and driven by results;
• You are a team player who enjoys collaborating with teams across the world;
• You are proactive, solution-driven, and detail-oriented.
• You have the ability to work independently or collaborate successfully in a team setting, including virtual teams
• You have in-depth knowledge of Bombardier Customer Services & Support, the aerospace industry or other complex industries an asset.
• You have strong customer orientation.
• You have strong presentation skills and is comfortable presenting to all levels of an organization.
• You have a love for online communications with an aptitude for technology.
• You have a background in storytelling with strong writing skills that can fit a complex idea into a handful of words;
• You have a solid track record in showcasing communications to achieve maximum impact, including the creation of compelling presentations in PowerPoint;
• You have an in-depth understanding of social media principles and practices;
• You have demonstrated initiative as well as excellent project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities;
• You have advanced Speech Writing skills;
• You have experience creating content for LinkedIn and managing community engagement on the platform.
