Senior Financial Analyst, Financial Reporting and Controlling

Located at the administrative center in Dorval, you will work within the Finance team and will report to the Manager, Financial Reporting and Controlling.

In your role, you will have the following responsibilities:

- Help to coordinate and supervise the work within the team:
- up to 4 direct employees within the same team;
- up to 5 indirect employees located in our Shared Service Center.

- Coordinate the month-end process of the financial statements submission:
- Upload information from ERP to Consolidation System;
- Review and validate multiple legal entities;
- Prepare and review Quarterly Supplemental Information Package;
- Prepare and review Annual Statutory Financial Statements;
- Support subsidiaries on adhoc requests.

- Analyze foreign exchange (FX) impacts on our Canadian and International operations
- For our Canadian entities, you will be in charge of :
- Analyzing the impact of the CAD/USD fluctuation on over 2 billion of annual expenses in CAD;
- Analyzing and booking the hedge accounting transactions related to this exposure;
- Building scenario analysis for quarterly forecast, annual budget, and 5-year Strategic Plan;
- Support treasury and our partners on adhoc requests.

- For our international entities :
- Train and support the financial reporting teams of our subsidiaries in validating their FX impacts.

- Support various internal and external requests:
- Internal Auditors / OSC;
- External Auditors;
- Income Tax Department;
- Head Office Finance teams;
- Business Units Finance teams.

- Identify and implement process improvement initiatives.
- Participate in special projects.


As our ideal candidate, you:

- Hold a bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance;
- Hold a professional accounting designation (CPA : CA, CMA, CGA);
- Have more than (7) years of pertinent experience and you are known for your leadership and your personal management skills;
- Are dynamic, autonomous and a team player;
- Have team leadership, efficient communication and coaching skills;
- Are able to adapt to a constantly changing environment;
- Have good communication skills in French and English, both spoken and written.
- Have good knowledge with MS Office;
- SAP FI/CO, SAP BPC and Oracle FDM/HFM knowledge would be considered an asset.
